Ok so what is this entire thing?

The long and short of it is that this is a digital zine made to showcase the creative projects of young people in Sydney. Whether it be non-fiction articles about a topic you’re really passionate about, creative writing/poetry, visual arts/photography, short film or anything else, this is a place for it.

Why this? Why now?

The internet has provided a great way for people to share their creativity, but often can isolate us from our in-person communities. The goal of this zine is not only to showcase the work of young people in Sydney but to build up the community (yes it’s cheesy). Hopefully this can develop into a physical zine rather than just a digital one if there’s enough interest.

Over the last few years, the music scene has begun to flourish and we’d like to extend that atmosphere out to other creative areas. If we can take that energy and apply it to different creative pursuits, we can discover great artists like we have in the local music scene.
